Everyone who plays Club Penguin loves to go to the events and parties. There is usually at least one party planned in the game each month. These parties often follow a specific theme, such as the Halloween Party or Club Penguin Awards party. But one of the biggest and most anticipated parties of the year is the Club Penguin Medieval Party, which first happened in May, 2008 and then again in May, 2009. Almost all the different areas in the game are decorated especially for the party and there are a lot of Medieval-themed events and activities.
The first Medieval Party occurred between May 16, 2008 and May 25, 2008. It was one of the biggest parties in Club Penguin history. Most of the rooms in the game were decorated. As with most parties on Club Penguin, one of the most exciting things was the free item giveaway. In 2008, there were two items that penguins could get for free. The first free item was the Squire Tunic at the Dock. The second free item was a wizard hat at the Lighthouse. The wizard hat was first released in the 2006 Halloween Party. The 2008 Medieval Party was also the first party to include the exclusive room which is only available during special events. It was a Treehouse Fort and it was at the Forest.
Here is a list of some of the best parts from the Club Penguin Medieval Party in 2008
Dragon A giant dragon appeared inside the mines where penguins usually play the Cart Surfer game. You could control the dragon using a special device called the switchbox 3000, which most penguins know is the same device used to control the scenery at all the Club Penguin plays.
The Magic Mirror Up on top of the ski hill mountain, penguins could use a magic mirror that worked kind of like the famous magic 8 ball where you could ask any question and it would give you an answer.
Special Costumes In the Gift Shop's catalog Penguin Style there was a dragon, knight and princess costume for member Penguins, medieval backgrounds and a note from the party committee about preparing for this party hidden behind the clothing catalog.
TreeTop Fort This new temporary room only appeared while the Medieval Party was going on. It was a place to hang out and enjoy the party. One fun feature was a hole in the tree where different Puffles would appear and make funny faces.
The 2009 Medieval Party
The 2009 edition of the Club Penguin Medieval Party was from May 8, 2009 through May 17, 2009. It featured many of the same attractions as the original party and included a few more. Many rooms were decorated and free items were given out. There was also a special mini-quest where Club Penguin members could get a golden suit of armor.
