By Dana Goldberg

Are you looking for a free reverse phone book for cell numbers? Are you only finding sites that want to charge you fees to obtain the information you require, or only finding information on land line numbers? Below are some tips on looking for information on previous owners of cell numbers.

Greypages and Reverse Phone books' hold information on customers who have previously held a particular number or an association with a toll free number. These phone books unfortunately do not hold information on cell numbers or fax numbers. It may be hard to find cell numbers on a reverse phone book as of the concerns raised over privacy issues for customers of the cell phone. So are they websites available where you can search for information on the previous owner of your current cell number?

What are you going to benefit from by finding this information? If you have a new cell number and are receiving unwanted hang ups you may be able to find out who these people are trying to contact. Or maybe a long lost love is missing and you want to find them, you may be able to track down their location with their cell information.

Websites that claim to offer you information at no cost usually have wrong information or information that is incorrect. It is recommended that you join a website or pay the one off fee to access the information you require.

If you require information on many numbers you would pay a 12 month membership whereas you would only pay a small fee if you require information on one number. If you pay the fees you will have access to more information on the number such as the cell provider and the address of the numbers owner.

The website that charges you fees or memberships get all their information from cell phone providers at a cost to them. So for them to make money on their website they need to charge users a fee, some of these sites use Click bank and may offer you a refund if the information you have obtained is incorrect.

When searching for information on a cell number do so with precaution. You do not want to get into any trouble by contacting the wrong person, or a person who does not want to be contacted, and finally check that the website where you are retrieving your information regularly updates their information, you do not want to pay for the information that is two years old or two number owners old.
