How Can I Copy Wii Games?

By Grant Dougan

Most Nintendo Wii owners have questioned if they can burn Wii disks. This inquiry has been brought up many times so today we're going to show you how this is done.

Naturally, you can't utilize a regular CD burning software to burn games. The reason behind this is that there are copyright protections on the discs that inhibit your computer from being able to read the disc. To be able to let your computer to be able to read the discs you require a specialized program.

Thankfully, there are now companies that have designed specialized Wii game programs that make it possible for your PC to "make sense" of the information on the disc. These softwares allow your computer to make copies of your Nintendo Wii discs.

We should mention that these softwares are meant for people to create legal backups of games. We certainly are not encouraging producing illegal copies of Wii games that aren't yours.

The program is easy to use; it's just like copying a music CD. When you install the program on your computer, it pretty much works automatically. You just need to launch the software when you need to burn a Nintendo Wii game.

Your PC will create an image of the game info after you put it in your disc tray. Once this image has been produced, you toss in a blank CD and the game data is burned onto the disc.

If you are purchasing a software for copying games, make sure that you get a moneyback guarantee. On the off-chance you aren't happy with it or it doesn't work on your computer, at least you have a chance to get your funds back.

Another important note - don't pay too much! This may be obvious - you are obviously hoping for the best deal. However, we have seen some software prices over $100 - that's just too expensive. You can get a software that allows you to copy Wii games for less than fifty bucks fairly easily.
